Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government is planning to generate Solar and Wind power in a big way in the coming days. Speaking after holding a discussion with State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) and Sani group representatives of China who called on him at his riverside residence at Undavalli, near here today, he said that the government had depended on conventional power generation of thermal power and hydropower. It is now planning to generate Wind and Solar power in a big way in the coming days. The Chief Minister said that he is happy to note that the SPIC and Sani companies had come forward to work with Andhra Pradesh in establishment of solar and wind power projects. He said AP is providing 24 hours power supply and conserved energy in a big way by replacing the conventional lamps with LED lamps. SPIC Company President Mang Genping and Sani group president Tang Gnago told the Chief Minister that they are ready to work with Andhra Pradesh in establishment of Solar and Wind power projects and the required proposals would be submitted soon.
