In exercise of the powers conferred under sections 61, 66, 86(1)(e) and 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission propose to notify the Renewable Power Purchase Obligation Regulations, 2016 for prescribing the obligation for purchase of Renewable Power and its compliance by purchase of Renewable Energy / Renewable Energy Certificates, for the years from 2017-18 to 2021-22.
