Arbutus Consultants and Leidos have signed a marketing agreement to jointly pursue select renewable energy and infrastructure asset advisory projects in India.India is witnessing significant growth in renewable energy capacity and infrastructure. Part of the Government of India’s energy plan calls for an installed renewable power capacity of 175GW by 2022 with 100GW of that capacity as solar power. With current installed solar capacity of approximately 6GW, numerous challenges and business opportunities exist in the next six years.

Arbutus Consultants is one of the foremost providers of consulting and engineering services in the field of solarenergy. Arbutus has been involved in consulting and engineering assignments for more than 3,000MW of solar PV power since 2005, of which more than 600MW are operational.
