Energy Minister Paras Jain applauds ‘Smart Bijli App’

Energy, New and Renewable Minister, Paras Chandra Jain chaired a meeting to review electricity supply and consumers service positions in Madhya Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited in Balaghat, on Wednesday. He applauded the initiative of mobile application facility ‘Smart Bijli App’ for providing prompt electricity services to the consumers. Addressing the meeting, Energy Minister directed the officers for ensuring errorless metre reading and timely distribution of electricity bills.

He appreciated the role of power companies behind achieving Krishi Karman Award by ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply. He declared for establishing new electricity circle in Balaghat for facilitating the consumers. During the meeting, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister, Gaurishankar Bisen, Member of Parliament, Balaghat, Bodh Singh Bhagat, Waraseoni, MLA, Yogendra Nirmal, Balaghat Jila Panchayat, President, Rekha Bisen, Collector, DV Singh, Chief Engineer (Jabalpur), AK Pandey and Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited, Chief Engineer (Testing and Transmission), DC Jain, senior engineers and other public representatives were present.

Energy Minister, Paras Chandra Jain instructed the engineers for implementing the suggestions of public representatives on priority basis and giving pace to feeder separation, Mukhya Mantri Krishi Pump Yojana, maintenance of high tension sub stations, timely replacement of transformers and solving the queries received in Bijli Panchayat. MP, Balaghat, Bodh Singh Bhagat emphasized over the need of timely maintenance of power distribution infrastructure for uninterrupted electricity. He also advocated for timely replacement of faulty transformers and setting standard parameters of consumers’ services.

MLA, Waraseoni, Yogendra Nirmal said for giving pace to ongoing construction of 132 KV sub station and establishing new sub station in Sarandi area. Jila Panchayat, President, Rekha Bisen said for survey of remote and isolated areas for ensuring electricity supply.Chief Engineer (Jabalpur), AK Pandey presented detailed report.
