Ivo Steklac, Jay Goldman, and Olga Shevorenkova Join EVgo, Nation’s Largest Public Fast Charging Network

LOS ANGELES: EVgo, America’s largest public electric vehicle (EV) fast charging network, announced today the addition of Ivo Steklac as Chief Technology Officer, Jay Goldman as Vice President of Business Development, and Olga Shevorenkova as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy.

EVgo is rapidly expanding to meet the needs of our partners as electric vehicles become the preferred automotive technology for consumers, ride share drivers, and fleets. With more than 1,000 fast chargers in 34 states, EVgo serves electric vehicle (EV) drivers with the largest public fast-charging network in the US. With EVgo, all EV drivers can charge their cars in 30 to 45 minutes at conveniently-located parking lot stations at malls, grocery stores, convenience stores, and downtown parking garages. With eight years of operating history, EVgo is driving advancement in fast charging technology, delivering customers 50 KW, 80 KW, and 150 KW fast chargers.

With a wide range of experience in the smart energy and renewables industries, Steklac comes to EVgo most recently from True North Venture Partners, where he served as an Operating Partner and CEO of AquaHydrex. Prior roles include General Manager of SunPower Corporation, Chief Customer Officer at C3 Energy, and COO of Tendril. As CTO, Steklac will drive EVgo’s technology roadmap and lead supplier relationships. He will also own the company’s digital backbone and platform for delivery of a reliable, fast, and convenient charging experience to all EVgo customers.

An electric vehicle veteran, Goldman brings 20 years of experience in clean energy infrastructure to his role with the nation’s largest public electric vehicle fast charging network, including, most recently serving as the Director of Charging Infrastructure and Energy Services, Business Development, and Corporate Strategy at Faraday Future. Previously, Goldman held roles as Vice President of Arzon Solar, LLC, Vice President of Sales at CSDR, Inc., Director of Sales at Emcore, and Vice President of Sales at Soliant Energy, Inc. As an early pioneer in the development and deployment of fast chargers as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at AeroVironment, Goldman was responsible for sales and business development for Auto OEMs, Utilities, and Tier Suppliers. At EVgo, Goldman will be leading business development activities with a focus on Auto OEMs of light, medium and heavy-duty electric vehicles.

Shevorenkova brings eight years of investment and transaction experience in sustainable infrastructure to her role as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at EVgo, including serving as Vice President of Greentech Capital Advisors, an investment bank solely focused on sustainable infrastructure. She offers a unique expertise in M&A and capital raising for high-growth companies as well as in-depth knowledge of advanced mobility markets’ dynamics. At EVgo, Olga will focus on maximizing shareholder value through capital structure optimization and the company’s investment activities.
