Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd is pleased to announce the bagging of prestigious 350 kW order from M/s Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, Mumbai. This is one of the unique kind of project where solar plant will be installed at multiple locations and being connected to single evacuation point without affecting natural flora and fauna in the campus.

This project will be first major project under net-metering scheme in Mumbai with private utility.

Mr. RaghavendraMirji, AVP & Head – Power Infrastructure & Renewable Energy vertical, said that the company is presently executing more than 3 MW of roof top projects in Maharashtra and similar capacities in all other states. This 350 kWp roof top project will add another feather in the cap of Godrej & Boyce and demonstrates its execution capabilities in solar field.

Godrej & Boyce plans to play a larger role as an EPC contractor for both On-Grid and Off-Grid solar power generation. Being driven by the focus on sustainability, reliability, values, Godrej & Boyce intends to enhance its presence in the sphere of Renewable Energy and will focus on various green initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.
