IMPORTANT: CEIG HAS INCREASED INSPECTION FEES FOR SOLAR PLANTS GREATER THAN 1MVA RS. 40000/- VIDE NOTIFICATION DATED 16-MAR-2018

As per earlier CEIG notification dated 22-Sep-2016, there was a fee of Rs. 60/- kw for inspection and testing of consumer’s / owner’s LT installation for any plant greater than 10KW. Now as per CEIG Notification dated 16 March 2018. It is Rs. 60/- for RE plants upto 1MVA. But have added for projects greater than 1 MVA- Rs. 40,000/- for each additional MVA.
This will generate additional financial burden on solar power developers. We need to take it up further.
