Meyer Burger receives orders for a total amount of about CHF 19 million for its industry-leading MB PERC upgrade cell technology, SiNA cell coating systems and DW 288 diamond wire cutting equipment from three different Asian customers. Meyer Burger has been awarded further important orders for the delivery of its industry-leading MB PERC technology on the MAiA 2.1 system platform, SiNA cell coating systems for the production of high quality solar cells as well as DW 288 Series 3 diamond wire cutting technology for the manufacture of solar wafers for high performance cells. The total combined value of the equipment ordered by three different Asian customers amounts to about CHF 19 million. Delivery and commissioning of the equipment is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2017.

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SIX Swiss Exchange: MBTN) today announced that it concluded further important contracts amounting to a combined contract volume of about CHF 19 million with three different customers in Asia. The equipment ordered includes the delivery, installation and commissioning of the MAiA 2.1 system platform with the mass production scalable MB PERC technology, SiNA cell coating equipment for the manufacture of high quality solar cells and DW 288 Series 3 diamond wire cutting technology for the production of solar wafers for high performance cells. All three customers rely on Meyer Burger’s innovative equipment to increase the efficiency and quality of their existing production lines. The delivery and commissioning of the equipment is scheduled to start in the second quarter 2017.
