The Program for Results instrument – PforR requires technical, fiduciary, environment and social assessments to be carried out as required under Operational Policy (OP 9.00) – Program for Results Financing. An initial environmental and social screening enabled to understand that the proposed Program is expected to lead to a reduction in negative externalities associated with local pollution and Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and have mainly have positive environmental impacts. Therefore, based on this assessment, program will be categorized as Category B and C investments.
