A 2 MW rooftop solar plant was inaugurated at India Expo Centre and Mart Ltd (IEML), Greater Noida on Friday by Brijesh Pathak, minister for additional energy sources Government of Uttar Pradesh.
“This plant not only serves as a testimony of India Expo Centre & Mart’s commitment towards ‘going green and reducing carbon footprint’, but will also bring total savings of Rs 380 million over the project lifetime of 25 years,” said Rakesh Kumar, chairman at IEML.
IEML has been hosting the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo for several years now and will host the next edition of REI from September 20-22, 2017.
