Job description
Sunvest is a solar energy company based out of Mumbai with a focus on residential, small commercial rooftop solutions for urban and semi-urban India. Our vision is that solar is akin to a consumer product which will be on every roof in the years to come. The company has been operating in Mumbai and Delhi and is looking to grow operations in Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Pune.
Sunvest is looking for a Sales Manager to start immediately.
Reporting to : Head of Sales
Open Positions : 1 (Chandigarh), 1 (Hyderabad) and 1(Pune)
Work Location: The position is based out of Chandigarh / Hyderabad / Pune but may require travel for meetings to nearby locations
Role & Responsibilities
Develop and nurture potential clients in all customer segments
Ability to spot new opportunities, create partnerships and generate leads
Work closely with the Head of Sales to manage the pipeline
Ability to grasp the rooftop solar concepts / technology / regulations and explain them in simple terms to the consumers
Ownership of CRM database and future follow ups
Leverage on personal network for lead generation
Skills & Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in direct sales
Previous experience in your geographic area
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in solar energy is preferred
Liaise with Technical Team at Corporate Office and Local Utility during project execution
Induction: A week long training will be provided to you at our Mumbai office prior to starting work
Qualification: Technical Background Preferred
