SMA Solar Technology AG Downsizes Managing Board

Martin Kinne will step down from his role as Chief Sales & Service Officer at SMA Solar Technology AG  for private reasons. This has been agreed between the SMA Supervisory Board and Martin Kinne. The Supervisory Board has also decided to downsize the Managing Board to three members.

“We thank Martin Kinne for his work during this particularly difficult year for SMA. We respect his decision and wish him all the best for the future,” said Dr. Erik Ehrentraut, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board and the Managing Board also agreed not to fill Martin Kinne’s position and downsize the Managing Board to three members. According to Ehrentraut, this means that the responsibilities of the Managing Board need to be redistributed. The Supervisory Board will discuss the precise areas of responsibility with the Managing Board before the end of the year. In any case, with Pierre-Pascal Urbon there will be a member of the Managing Board who has already been responsible for Sales and Service on several occasions.
