In the way of finding the renewable energy sources, the researchers narrowed down to solar energy which can beat the use of natural gas.

FUTURE OF SOLAR ENERGY IN INDIA
Major economies of the world are focusing on the renewable energy sources like the wind and solar power. The countries in the tropical region have an upper hand at the energy created from the sun. That’s why India is also looking ahead at the future of solar energy.

WORLDS LARGEST SOLAR POWER PLANT IS IN INDIA
The facility in Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu is the largest solar power plant in the world. With a capacity of 648 MW, it spans over an area of 10 square km.

FUTURE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY WORLDWIDE
In the past, the researchers have calculated that out of 139 countries (they analysed), 80 per cent are likely to adapt to clean and renewable energy by 2030 and 100 per cent by the year 2050. Also, the efficiency of the renewable energy will decrease the need of energy by 42.5 per cent globally.

The move towards clean energy is also likely to create 24.3 million long-term full-time jobs. The move will also result in lesser deaths from air pollution, with the death count going as low as 7 million a year.
