Sova Solar Ltd., one of the leading Solar PV Module manufacturer of India, is announcing that they have started its commercial production of 5BB Solar PV Module. With the guidance of Professors of IIT – Kharagpur, Sova Solar has taken this initiative. As per the version of Shri Krishnendu Mukherjee, C.O.O, “Our company always tries to serve the nation with best quality of product and takes forward move with new technology.
The implementation of 5BB is only an instance.” Shri Mukherjee, has also added that the 5BB Modules will be commercially available for the industry from the month of May,2018. In reply to the question asked regarding the benefit of using 5BB Solar Module, Mr. Amal Nayak, Head of Sales and Marketing said that as the number of bus bar would increase, the series resistance would automatically decrease and as result the current conduction would increase. Hence power generation would increase in a cell.
Therefore a lesser number of modules would be required and as a result the civil/structural cost would be reduced. This would have ultimate beneficial impact on Solar Project cost. Shri Krishnendu Mukherjee also added that “….with the increase of bus bar of a cell, the residual stress between the bus bars will automatically come down. As a result the chances of micro-crack generation and hot spot formation will definitely be reduced.” Sova Solar’s initiative dose match with the mission of our Central Government to minimise the cost of Solar Power.
