In a recent open bid for 150 MW Solar PV Power Projects in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh with Domestic Content Requirement wherein the developers are required to source the solar equipment from India, Azure Power won 100 MW Project quoting lowest tariff of Rs.5.12 kWh and Adani won 50MW Project quoting Rs. 5.13/kWh.
The other unsuccessful bidders were Red (Indiabulls) quoting Rs.5.14, Hero – Rs.5.25, Acme – Rs.5.36, Tata – Rs.5.41, NEEPCO – Rs.5.70, Greenko – Rs.5.79, Renew Power – Rs.5.99 and finally SkyPower Rs.6.62.
