Petitioners briefed the court about the SGD notification, which was published by the Ministry of Finance without taking leave of the court. The next hearing of this case is scheduled on 14th August.
Vikram Solar Limited has requested the Hon’ble Court to direct Ministry of Finance to clarify applicability of Safeguard Duty on SEZ units and direct EPC contracts which have already been awarded to be exempted from safeguard duty.
We are hoping that we will get suitable relief from the Hon’ble court.
