World’s first from Dresden: SOLARWATT GmbH is now also offering the SOLARWATT 60M high power module with an output of 300 watt peak (Wp). The German solar pioneer is now the first company to produce a glass-glass model in this variant and with this output. SOLARWATT glass-glass modules are extremely durable and especially resistant to environmental influences – they are essentially “unbreakable”. After 5,000 hours of damp heat tests (DHT) under intensified conditions, the 60 monocrystalline solar cells lost less than one percent of their output.

“There are already modules in the market with 300 Wp output, but not as long-lasting glass-glass modules; private home owners and commercial operators can now generate their own solar power even more efficiently,” explained SOLARWATT Managing Director Detlef Neuhaus. SOLARWATT has been producing glass-glass solar modules since 1998 and changed its entire product portfolio to state-of-the-art glass-glass modules in 2013. The modules are manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities in Dresden and have a 30-year product and performance warranty, which is unique for the sector. “As a provider of solar systems, the continuous development of highperformance, safe solar modules has always been very important to us.

After all, the end customer can only profit from the output of the overall solar system if the entire system operates reliably and efficiently – and thus reduces costs over the long term,” explained Carsten Bovenschen, Head of Finance at SOLARWATT GmbH. The Dresden-based company’s new 300 Wp high-performance modules are now available
