In Short : ACME Solar has commissioned an additional 112.5 MW at its Sikar Solar Project in Rajasthan, raising the total operational capacity to 165 MW out of the planned 300 MW. The project is expected to generate 780 million units annually, with power sold via exchanges. This boosts ACME’s total installed capacity to 2,705 MW across India.

In Detail : ACME Solar Holdings Limited (BOM:544283) has commissioned the second phase of its Sikar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, adding 112.5 MW capacity, according to a Tuesday filing on the local bourse.

This follows the initial 52.5 MW commissioned earlier in May, bringing the project’s total operational capacity to 165 MW out of a planned 300 MW.

With this milestone, ACME Solar’s total operational capacity rises to 2,705 MW from 2,592.5 MW. The company expects the full 300 MW project to generate around 780 million units of clean energy annually.

Power from the project will be sold on power exchanges on a merchant basis and allocated for optimal commercial use.
