Advait Energy Partners with Haryana City Gas for 2,000 MTPA Green Hydrogen Plant – EQ

In Detail : Advait Energy Transitions Limited (AETL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haryana City Gas Distribution (Bhiwadi) Limited to develop a green hydrogen plant with a capacity of 2,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA). The partnership marks a significant step in advancing clean energy infrastructure and the use of green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.
The MoU outlines AETL’s role in providing turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for the plant. As part of the agreement, AETL will supply 15 MW alkaline electrolysers, which will be a core component in the production of green hydrogen. The company will also oversee the operations and maintenance of the plant for one year after commissioning, ensuring the plant operates efficiently.
In addition to the technical setup, AETL will offer consultancy services aimed at exploring industrial and commercial applications of green hydrogen. These services will help industries transition to cleaner energy alternatives. AETL is also committed to evaluating the potential of green ammonia production and identifying opportunities for carbon credit generation, further supporting the sustainability goals of the project.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting the adoption of green hydrogen across various sectors. By using alkaline electrolysis technology, the plant will produce green hydrogen efficiently, which can then be used in different industries as a cleaner alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
