Boralex announces the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board
Boralex Inc. (“Boralex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX: BLX) announced the appointment today of Alain Rhéaume as Chairman of the Board of Boralex. Mr. Rhéaume succeeds Robert F. Hall, who decided to resign as director and Chairman of the Board for personal reasons, effective immediately.
Mr. Rhéaume has been a director of the Corporation since 2010. He has served and continues to serve on the boards of directors of a number of public companies and has significant corporate governance experience. He has held management positions at Microcell Telecommunications Inc. and Rogers Wireless Inc. Mr. Rhéaume also served as Associate Deputy Minister with the Ministère des Finances du Québec from 1988 to 1992, then Deputy Minister from 1992 to 1996.
Mr. Hall had been a director of Boralex since May 2012 and chaired the Board from May 2013.
