‘Centre okayed Rs 4K cr loan for green projects’

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a public sector undertaking under the administrative control of Union ministry of new and renewable energy, has sanctioned over Rs 4,000 crore loan for Rajasthan in the renewable energy sector so far. Dr N P Singh, senior advisor, IREDA, who was in Jaipur to attend the India Industrial Fair (IIF 2018) at JECC, Sitapura, said that IREDA has financed about 80 solar and wind power projects and has sanctioned about Rs 4,000 crore loan in Rajasthan. These projects are mainly located in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.
