Croatian energy market operator received 19 bids for a total of 150 MW, of which one is a geothermal project – EQ Mag Pro
As part of a tender for renewable projects, the Croatian energy market operator received 19 bids for a total of 150 MW, of which one is a geothermal project.
The agency announced the public tender for the award of a market premium within the framework of available quotas for encouraging the production of electricity from renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration, with a deadline for submitting the offer on July 4, 2022. The announcement states that an evaluation on the bids will be made within 30 days with a decision on the most favourable bidders.
Within the framework of the public tender, a total of 19 offers were received within the given deadline, of which:
- 5 for solar power plants – total connected power 12,996 kW
- 3 for hydropower plants – total connected power 5,350 kW
- 3 for wind power plants – total connected power 113,000 kW
- 7 for biogas power plants – total connected power 8,740 kW
- 1 for a geothermal power plant (innovative technology) – connected power 10,000 kW.
- The total connected power from these offers is 150,086 kW (150 MW).
In accordance with the propositions of the tender, the Committee for opening, checking and recording bids will evaluate the bids received within 30 days and make a decision on the selection of the most favourable bidders, among those who have met all the formal conditions, with an explanation of the reasons for selecting the most favourable bidders, i.e. an explanation of the reasons for of which individual offers have not been selected.
It is important to emphasise that the most favourable bidders are considered tender participants whose offered reference value is less than or equal to the maximum reference value stated in the tender and who offered the lowest reference value, all within the limits of the available quota for individual groups of production plants as prescribed by the tender provisions and in accordance with the best interests of investors.
