Job Description
Incumbent will support the project management office (PMO) in the project schedule management of solar power projects: by developing the project schedules; monitoring and tracking the critical path activities; planning for recovery actions for any deviations from the baseline plan; developing and maintaining a MIS platform for data dissemination and information sharing; analyzing the project execution data and report generation. Incumbent is expected to have advanced skills and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Atleast 5-7 years of project management, planning and controls experience, preferably in the infrastructure sector. Engineering graduate, preferably in electrical, mechanical or civil.
Proficient in MS Project, Excel and MS Office tools. Proficiency in SAP-PS and working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
Advanced level knowledge in project scheduling and tracking.
Sound knowledge of the project management processes. PMP certification is desirable.
Comfortable with the IT and MIS tools, such as Sharepoint. Basic programming/macros (VB) scripting skills are expected.
Knowledge of solar power plant operations.
Demonstrated time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Sound communication and interpersonal skills & good written and oral skills.
Ability to lead effective/efficient meetings and to put across viewpoints/issue escalation in a professional manner.
Open to periodic site visits; might have to stay at the project sites for brief durations.
Salary:INR 10,00,000 – 16,00,000 P.A.
