Educational qualifications
BE / B. Tech (Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
MBA would be an added advantage
Reporting to Senior Manager
Job Description
ü Performing solar resource assessment
ü Calculating power output from PV systems based on location, design, equipment make etc. using appropriate tools and software
ü Designing solar tariffs using cost plus and IRR approach
ü Reviewing relevant Solar regulations and policies
ü Document results in technical reports and papers
ü Developing process maps for implementation of grid-connected Solar PV plants
ü Preparing Detailed Project Reports
Key Responsibilities
◦ Market Assessment in Solar domain
◦ Perform Solar resource assessment and Solar power output study
◦ On-site assistance in Project Management (PMC) assignments for grid connected Solar PV plants
◦ Oversee and develop MIS during the development of grid-connected Solar PV plants
◦ Review technical EPC drawings of grid-connected Solar PV plants
◦ Write technical proposals to energy clients and utilities
Skills required
◦ 3 to 6 years of Solar PV domain experience
◦ Familiar with software like PV Syst etc.
◦ Familiarity with off-grid and grid-connected PV, conventional electric power, and energy economics
◦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
◦ Strong organizational skills, ability to track and manage multiple tasks
◦ Good collaboration skills
◦ Preferred
◦ Knowledge of electricity sector regulations and policies
