With commissioning of 500 MW unit at Unchahar in Uttar Pradesh the total installed capacity of NTPC has risen to 50498 MW. In FY 17 NTPC’s annual generation has topped 250 BUs; Company commenced Coal Mining at Pakri Barwadih: Commissioned First high efficiency 800 MW unit at Kudgi and has steadily added to its renewable portfolio.
