In case the tender/bid submitted by such contractor who is not enlisted with MES is accepted, the contractor will be required to lodge with the Controller of Defence Accounts INDIVIDUAL SECURITY DEPOSIT calculated with reference to TENDERED COST as notified by the Accepting Officer subject to a maximum of Rs. 18,75,000/. The amount is required to be lodged within 30 (Thirty) days of the receipt by the contractor of notification of acceptance of tender/bid, failing which the sum shall be recovered from the 1st RAR payment or from the Final bill (See Condition 22 of General Condition of the Contract.
