Rs.4.63 per kWh has become a new benchmark tariff in the Solar Industry. In the reverse bidding on Dec 14,2015 for 350MW Solar PV Grid Connected Power Projects tender by NTPC to be set up in Andhra Pradesh Solar Park, SBG Cleantech (SoftBank-Bharti-Foxconn) won the entire 350 MW Tender by quoting the lowest tariff at Rs.4.63. Just behind SBG were Yarrow Infrastructure (Indiabulls) quoting Rs.4.64, followed by Azure quoting Rs.4.76, Reliance quoting Rs.4.88, Renew quoting Rs.5.17, Trina quoting Rs.5.18 and finally FirstSolar quoting Rs.5.34 per kWh.
