About Us
DataGlen is an IoT start-up enabling intelligent monitoring and analytics through our scalable and robust cloud platform. The company’s proprietary cloud platform allows for easy and remote monitoring of assets on mobile/web, provides actionable and real-time business intelligence based on big data analytics. Focused on clean energy Sector, currently, more than 140MW utility and roof top solar farms use DataGlen’s platform to manage their assets. The founders have experience building successful start-ups acquired by Silicon Valley ventures, worked in major innovation hubs such as MIT Media Lab, IBM Research, France Telecom Research, published several scientific papers in top publications and were granted 8 patents in US and filed several others. Founded in 2015 and based out of Bangalore, DataGlen has received Series A funding from a strategic investor.
We are looking for an energetic sales manager to spearhead our rapid expansion plans in the solar business vertical. The same will be accountable for executing the sales strategy, establishing and driving sales and managing relationships with clients. This role requires an individual who has a thorough experience of sales and marketing processes, procedures, and methodologies
Job Responsibilities
Execute sales strategies for expanding the company’s customer base across India
Manage contract negotiation and work with key support personnel as required
Deliver professional sales demos/presentations, both in-person and virtually, to demonstrate how DataGlen cloud platform can effectively improve client’s operations
Frequent visits to customers and business partners to cultivate relationships in order to maintain the existing business and to expand the customer base and opportunity pipeline
Your direct sales role will be responsible for attaining monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to support our marketing and business objectives
Job Requirements
Bachelors in Engineering/Commerce from Tier I universities/colleges (MBA is a plus)
Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B sales in Solar Industry
Energetic, extroverted, street-smart personality and a go-getter attitude ready to take initiative
Willingness to travel as per business requirement
