In Short : Sunora Solar is entering hybrid solar inverter manufacturing, targeting launch within two months. The company showcased its SUN-10HL-G4 inverter at RenewX 2025 and aims to serve high-demand regions like Kashmir and the Northeast. With BIS certification underway, Sunora plans to expand its 2 GW module capacity to 6 GW by year-end, enhancing its reach in Tier II and III cities.

In Detail : Sunora Solar, a leading solar module manufacturer based in Surat, is set to diversify its product portfolio by venturing into hybrid solar inverter manufacturing. The company plans to introduce its first range of hybrid inverters within the next two months. This move is part of Sunora’s broader strategy to offer integrated solar solutions and meet rising demand in key markets.

The company has already applied for BIS certification for its upcoming inverters, ensuring they meet Indian quality standards. These hybrid inverters are particularly targeted at regions like Kashmir and the Northeast, where consistent power supply issues create strong demand for hybrid energy systems that combine solar and battery storage.

Sunora’s new inverters will feature advanced design elements, including aluminum die-cast bodies that offer superior heat dissipation and durability. They will come equipped with built-in Type II surge protection devices, which eliminate the need for separate ACDB and DCDB boxes, thus simplifying installation and improving system reliability.

At the recently held RenewX 2025 exhibition in Chennai, Sunora unveiled its SUN-10HL-G4 model, a 15 kW three-phase grid-connected inverter tailored for commercial applications. This marked the company’s formal entry into the inverter segment and was well received by stakeholders for its robust design and performance features.

Currently, Sunora operates a 2 GW solar module production facility that manufactures mono PERC and n-type TOPCon bifacial modules. The company has ambitious plans to expand this capacity to 6 GW by December 2025, aligning with India’s push for renewable energy growth and self-reliant manufacturing.

In addition to technological innovation, Sunora is focusing on expanding its footprint across Tier II and Tier III cities. By increasing awareness of solar power’s benefits and offering complete energy solutions, the company aims to become a trusted brand for residential, commercial, and institutional customers across the country.
