April will see the first validation tests for the new family of INGEDRIVE products which will be launched onto the market in late 2018.

The new power converter family called INGEDRIVE MV900 is based on HV-IGBTs with a multi-level topology which allows it to reach 6600V. The INGEDRIVE MV900 range will be available in a water-cooled version with a power range from 4 to 36MW, available with both 2Q and 4Q rectifiers and AFE topology.

Its modular design and high density will make this one of the most versatile, compact products on the market, mainly aimed at applications with high energy demands in industrial sectors such as steel and mining as well as marine propulsion for heavy ships such as LNGs or large cruise ships.
