In Detail : Solar RE Power, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries, has successfully commissioned a 50 MW ground-mounted solar power project in Beed district, Maharashtra. The project marks a key milestone in the company’s efforts to expand its renewable energy footprint across India.
The plant uses advanced TOPCon bifacial solar modules, which are known for their higher efficiency and improved performance under varying environmental conditions. These modules help optimize power generation and ensure better energy yields compared to conventional technologies.
This solar project is expected to generate over 100 GWh of clean electricity annually. The energy produced will contribute directly to Maharashtra’s renewable energy targets and help reduce carbon emissions in the region.
A long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been signed with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for a period of 25 years. This provides revenue certainty and tariff stability, making the project financially viable and investor-friendly.

SAEL Industries continues to scale its renewable energy portfolio, which includes utility-scale solar projects, waste-to-energy plants, and module manufacturing. The company currently manages a solar IPP capacity of over 6.7 GW across India.
The Beed project is part of SAEL’s broader vision to strengthen India’s energy independence through clean, indigenous power generation. It also enhances the renewable share in Maharashtra’s electricity mix.
