Apnes receive funds for smart class, mini solar power project

Funds for smart class, kitchen improvement, mini solar power project and fruit processing unit for the Apnes of Lohit Library were announced by Colonel Arun K Lal during the Apurba Diwas 2017 celebrations at Anugrah on Wednesday last. Colonel Lal further informed that funds for the four schemes were released to the Anu Shiksha Seva Trust and that the projects can be implemented immediately. Apurba Diwas is celebrated by the Apnes every year in remembrance of the encouragement and help provided to rural Arunachal by Major General A K Bardalai, VSM, a distinguished military leader, who, during his tenure as Commander of military formation in the region had engaged the military establishment in meaningfully taking up welfare measures for the civil population, thereby fostering a healthy and harmonious civil-military bonding.
