In Short : Everest Industries will source 3 MW of solar power from Enerparc Solar Power 10’s 15 MW project in Tamil Nadu through a group captive model. The company will invest ₹10.65 million for a 5.31% stake in the project SPV, aiming to boost renewable energy use and reduce dependence on conventional power across its manufacturing operations.

In Detail : Everest Industries has announced plans to procure 3 MW of solar power from Enerparc Solar Power 10’s upcoming 15 MW project in Tamil Nadu.

The power will be supplied to Everest’s Podanur plant in Coimbatore under a group captive arrangement, allowing the company to secure clean energy at competitive rates.

To participate in the project, Everest Industries will invest ₹10.65 million, acquiring a 5.31% equity stake in the special purpose vehicle managing the solar facility.

This investment will give Everest proportional ownership in the project and ensure a long-term supply of renewable energy for its operations.

The deal is expected to be completed by November 30, 2025, aligning with the commissioning schedule of the solar plant.

Everest Industries has been steadily increasing its renewable energy portfolio, with existing rooftop solar installations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Odisha contributing to its energy mix.

The company’s latest move reinforces its sustainability strategy and commitment to reducing carbon emissions across its manufacturing units.

By adopting the group captive model, Everest benefits from cost savings, predictable energy supply, and compliance with renewable purchase obligations.

This partnership with Enerparc further positions Everest Industries as a proactive adopter of green energy in India’s industrial sector.
