Inox Neo Energies Wins 50 MW In Maiden Wind Power Auction – EQ
In Short : Inox Neo Energies has won a 50 MW wind power project in its debut bid during GUVNL’s Wind Phase-IX auction at a tariff of ₹3.66/kWh. The project, to be developed in Gujarat, marks the company’s entry into the wind energy sector and supports its renewable growth strategy. A 25-year power purchase agreement and two-year commissioning timeline are set.
In Detail : Inox Neo Energies, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy and the renewable energy Independent Power Producer arm of the INOXGFL Group, has secured 50 MW in its first-ever wind power project auction. The company had participated in the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) Wind Phase-IX auction, aimed at developing 250 MW of grid-connected wind power projects across Gujarat.
Inox Neo Energies was awarded 50 MW out of its quoted 100 MW at a discovered tariff of Rs 3.66/kWh. This win marks the beginning of a new chapter in the journey of Inox Neo Energies, in its endeavour to be one of the prominent players in India’s green energy transition, the company said.

Earlier, the company disclosed progress on the 990 MW turnkey wind project it is executing as part of a broader 1,500 MW framework agreement with Purvah Green Private, a subsidiary of CESC. The project is currently in full swing across multiple sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, with phased commissioning expected to begin from FY26 onwards.
