* Issued by: **Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)**, under the **“Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) Order, 2019”**.
* Effective List: **ALMM List–I (Solar PV Modules)** as updated on **13th October 2025**.
* This is the **43rd update/revision** of the ALMM, reflecting additions and modifications based on recent approvals by the **MNRE’s ALMM Cell**.
* The ALMM serves as the **official registry** of MNRE-approved solar PV manufacturers and models eligible for installation in **Government-supported solar projects, schemes, and programs** in India.

## **2. Objective of ALMM**
* To ensure **quality assurance** and **traceability** of solar PV modules deployed across India.
* Only modules included in the ALMM List–I can be used in projects connected to the grid under **central or state government incentives**, including:
* CPSU Scheme,
* KUSUM Scheme,
* Rooftop Solar Programme,
* PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, and
* Any project using central financial assistance or bidding under SECI/NTPC.

## **4. Technology Highlights**
* Most new approvals involve **high-efficiency Mono PERC, N-Type TOPCon, and bifacial (glass-glass) modules**.
* Rated capacities range between **350 Wp and 650 Wp**, with efficiencies up to **24%**.
* Modules certified as per **IS 14286 / IEC 61215 / IEC 61730 standards** and tested in **NABL-accredited laboratories** in India.
* All models designed for **system voltage up to 1500 V** and compatible with large-scale solar installations.

## **5. Scope & Impact**
* This update strengthens India’s **domestic manufacturing base** for solar PV modules.
* The inclusion of new companies supports the government’s push toward **Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliance)** in solar manufacturing.
