Energy yields from PV plants can only be secured over the long term with professional monitoring. However, many PV plants are still “flying blind“. Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS) wants to promote PV plant monitoring. That is why SDS is now starting to reward their installers and PV plant operators with a bonus payment. If malfunctions at PV plants go undetected, this leads to long-term yield losses. With a professional energy management system from Solar-Log™, energy yields and financial returns can be safeguarded. Around the world, numerous PV plants already in operation do not have professional monitoring. This provides a huge potential for installers toprovidetheircustomers Solar-Log™ monitoringdevices.
Solar-Log™ Friends Promotion
As part of the Solar-Log™ Friends promotion, installers in Europe receive a bonus payment of 25 € for each Solar-Log™ device that they install with a Solar-Log™ WEB portal registration from 01 September 2016 to 31 December 2016. Furthermore, SDS provides installers together with their customers participating in the promotion one year of Solar-Log™ WEB service free of charge. The installers’ customers themselves receive up to 100 € cash back from the manufacturer – depending on the device type – for buying a device and registering for Solar-Log™ WEB service. However, the Solar-Log™ Friends promotion is only valid for existing PV plants installed before 31 December 2015. After the device has been connected, the installer has to send the serial number to SDS. Solar-Log™ donates to a charity project for every device installed.

Solar-Log™ offers a comprehensive range of options
Integrated components such as inverters, heat pumps, battery storage systems, meters, heating rods, combined heat and power (CHP) systems and string combiner boxes can be switched in an individually defined sequence and can be visualized via the WEB portal.
The ratio between feed-in power and self-consumption can also be individually adjusted according to the particular legal requirements.
