Job Description
Educational: B. Tech (Pref. Electrical) + MBA ( Preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience
Location: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra

1. Having in-depth knowledge of Indias power sector with the latest reforms, regulations and various procedural aspects of Open access and power trading pursuant to the Electricity Act of 2003.
2. Having in-depth knowledge with the latest reforms, regulations and various aspects of Wheeling and Banking of Renewable power in Southern states.
3. Experience in Short Term and Medium Term Power Purchase Transaction from Power Exchanges (IEX /PXIL)
4. REC Compliance reporting, Assistance with transaction management, billing &settlement mechanisms.
5. Experience in Short term and Medium Term Solar Power purchase transactions.

Key Job Role :

1. . Updating and analysing the information on All India power flow, power availability, power requirement on weekly basis.
2. Meeting the power requirements of the commercial & industrial consumers
3.Market research in power sector
4. Market analysis , Developing new strategies as per the changing scenario of Power Sector & needs of the Company..
5. Identifying and making pool of customers for sale of power from our own renewable generating units under 3rd Party Open Access.
6. Market Intelligence & strategic decision making in Renewable energy market.
7. Implementing Wheeling & Banking transactions, leading the procedure for availing open access & techno commercial due diligence involved in availing the open access.
8. Sales strategy development including business plan for upcoming Solar Power Project

Regulatory Exposure:

1. Analysing the Open Access Regulations (including new regulation on Open Access) for RE power.
2. Analysing and giving inputs on regulations on transmission charges, Short term Open Access and long term arrangement.
3. channelling with electricity boards & power consumers for southern region of India.
4. Analysing the Electricity Laws, Open Access Regulations for formulating Strategy for long / Short term PPA
