22 Motors flow electric scooter has been spotted testing in Delhi NCR. It will be a premium scooter, including many segment first features onboard.
Electric two-wheeler startup, 22 Motors is planning to launch its 3rd new scooter in India. Flow E-scooter was recently spotted testing in the Delhi NCR area, without any camouflage.
At the 2018 Auto Expo, it launched the Flow E-scooter for Rs 74,740. However, the upcoming one will be more premium, will carry more features and most importantly, will be equipped with battery swapping options.
Last year, 22 Motors entered into a partnership with Kymco scooters from Taiwan. Both the brands have come together for development of future mobility solutions and launching new electric two-wheelers in India.
22 Motors Flow E-scooter has been spotted testing in Delhi. We suspect it to be testing with swappable batteries. With this feature, the rider can change the batteries on the go. This ensures the rider that he would not be stranded anywhere.
It has been spotted in Candy Red paint job, with silver details just below the foot board. The design seems minimal but still looks attractive.
The E-scooter comes with a 2.1 kWh battery, that is capable of delivering 90 Nm of peak torque. The top speed achievable on this scooter is 60 km/hr, which is still better than many E-scooters.
The riding range of the scooter stands at 160 kms. The fast chargers will allow the battery to be charged from 0-70% in just 60 minutes. The company plans to introduce charging stations across Delhi NCR.
Features onboard include Combined Braking system, front and rear disc brakes, IP65 water and dust protection, telescopic front suspension and dual hydraulic rear suspension.
Tech features include reverse gear, Cruise and Drag riding modes, Bluetooth integrated cluster, Projector headlamps, LED tail lights and advanced telematics with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
22 Motors Flow is expected to be launched in India in a couple of months. It will compete with the likes of Okinawa i-Praise and Ather Scooters in India.
