The Adani group has established 648 MW solar power station, the world’s largest solar park in a single location in Kamuthi block at a total outlay of ?4,536 crore.
He was convinced that the sub-station had the capacity to evacuate power generated in the proposed power station, officials said.
Mr. Kapur, accompanied by officials also visited the Adani solar power station to get a first hand account of solar power generation. Later, he visited the 400/230/110 KV Sub-station established by TANGEDCO for evacuating the power generated in Adani solar power station.
The proposed project would be the second largest solar power station in the arid district.
