Oriano completes 9 projects for Cleantech Solar across multiple states

These plants will generate clean energy that will offset annual carbon dioxide emission of 29,300 metric tons and have already created more than 310 jobs

New Delhi: Solar EPC player, Oriano Solar, on Monday said it has completed nine projects for Cleantech Solar totaling 13.75 megawatt peak (MWp) across seven states and union territories in the past six months.

The states included Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, along with Puducherry.

“A 10-MWp solar photovoltaic power plant is in the final stages of completion,” Oriano Solar said in a press release.

These plants will generate clean energy that will offset annual carbon dioxide emission of 29,300 metric tons and have already created more than 310 jobs.

Raju Shukla, founder and executive chairman, Cleantech Solar said, “These projects will help industrial and commercial customers to have substantial cost savings without having to make capital investment and meet their sustainability goals.”

K G Vijayvarghia, business head – Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Oriano Solar, said, “We have a vision to cross 1 gigawatt (GW) of execution by Oriano by 2022 that can offset carbon dioxide emission of 1.2 million metric tons annually and collectively contribute in India’s Solar Energy goal of 100 GW by 2022.”

Currently, Oriano is executing 134.5 MWp of solar projects to be commissioned by Sep 2019 and will surpass cumulative installation of 350+ MWp by the end of this financial year.
