This recognition from the World Sustainability Congress in Mauritius cements AESL’s position as a pioneer in driving a sustainable future for the power sector.
The award commends AESL’s dedication to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices through innovative solutions. This win adds to their recent acquisition of Halvad Transmission Ltd, a critical project enabling the evacuation of 7 gigawatts of renewable energy from the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat.
AESL plans to invest around Rs 3,000 crore to build, own, operate, and maintain this 301 km transmission line, connecting Khavda to the national grid. This project significantly strengthens their position as the country’s largest private transmission company, with a network spanning 16 states and a robust capacity.
