Agra: AMU will hold a five-day programme on “Grid Connected Solar PV Rooftop”, a green initiative, starting September 4, where engineers and science and management graduates can participate.
The Department of Electrical Engineering, ZH College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in collaboration with the university’s Electricity Department, will start a five-day Mini stry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)- United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Partnership to Advance Clean Energy-Deployment (PACE-D) ‘Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on Rooftop Solar PV’ from September 4.
Dr M Rihan, member-in-charge, Electricity Department, said that all the participants will receive certificates from Skills CouncilGreen Jobs, Government of India.
The MNRE has sanctioned Rs 21 lakh to AMU for conducting two five-day programmes on “Grid Connected Solar PV Rooftop”.
The other programme will take place in October.
