On 10.10.2013, the karnataka electricty regulatory commission (kerc) determined the tariff of solar rooftop pv systems as rs. 9.56 without subsidy & rs.7.20 with subsidy. on 22.05.2014, the government of karnataka (gok) announced the solar policy 2014-2018 and set a target of 400mw. on 07.11.2014, the solar rooftop policy launched in bescom and extended to all escom’s.
