Job Description :

Key Responsibilities Areas:
1) Leading and directing Ujaas Group in defining and achieving its strategic goals in the B to C retail home rooftop segment
2) Responsible for achievement of the business plan particularly net margin and ROCE
3) Provide entrepreneurial flair and manage risks in growing and operating the companys business
4) As part of the top management/ the leadership team of Ujaas, contribute actively to leading and directing the organisation in defining and achieving its strategic goals in the new segment
5) Contribute to any committees, teams or Boards in which you may participate from time to time so that the said committees / teams achieve their objectives consonant with Ujaas Group policies
6) Espouse, foster and propagate the core values of the Ujaas Group

Key Deliverables:

1) Plan, lead and execute the annual / periodic business plan for the Home Segment
2) Ensure that the business exceeds its committed gross margin and ROCE, in collaboration with all Functions, ensure that new business/ products developed launched by this newly created organisation are competitive and completed on schedule.
3) Work effectively with all people and functions to create and improve business processes, manage process costs and capital employed
4) Recruit, develop, motivate, retain and maintain within the business team which not only effectively delivers the business objectives but lives the Ujaas Groups core values and behaviours
5) Create and enhance Brand Ujaas
6) Timely reporting to the Ujaas Board and Promoters
7) Predictability of results and absence of surprises
8) Business growth as per the agreed business plans
9) Established reputation amongst customers and customer satisfaction
10) High retention rates for high performers in the team and acceptable attrition rates overall
11) Improvements in on time deliveries and Quality.
12) Effective completion of Vision document for the business, its communication to the management team and alignment of business processes / organization to its delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile
1) Bachelors/PG degree in Engineering or Management with broad background in Business Management including a significant technical aptitude
2) Proven track record of preparing and implementing market entry and growth strategies, preferably in Business to Consumer retail segment, Energy or similar areas
3) 10+ years experience of successfully running large teams comprising of Development, marketing-sales (to Large organizations), Project management, Finance and HR
4) 5+ Experience of managing a profit centre
5) Experience of managing large contracts with understanding of risk management.
6) Global/cross cultural exposure desirable

Education-
UG: Graduation Not Required, B.Tech/B.E. – Computers, Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, Energy, Environmental, Mechanical, Petroleum, Production/Industrial
PG:MBA/PGDM – Any Specialization
