Job Description / Responsibilities:
To design and construct sub stations, transformer bays and switchyards, their inspection and inspection report writing, & preparation of plans, structural analysis and design, finite element modeling and analysis of special structures, foundation and retaining structure design, quantity-cost estimates.
Site Execution of civil work within the time frame and within the Budget.
Estimation and costing of Civil & steel structural works associated with S/S.
Should have Sound knowledge of Construction Site Investigation, Feasibility & technical Study, Detailed Design Development, Risk Analysis & Management ability, Labor Handling skill, Provide Practical Approach and Creativity in Design Issues, Planning Budget and Equipment & Safety Management, Equipment Purchase, Completing the work within Deadline, to provide Target oriented Results.
Co-ordination with external facilitator where assigned Ensuring that all the construction activity is going on as per the schedule Checking and verification of bills submitted by the contractors Co-ordination between various agencies working at site, architects and consultants.
Construction of Tower foundation (Raft, Isolated and Pile foundation).
Resolution of issues during implementation related Tower, DG, and Shelter of site.
Maintaining the Daily progress report.
Inspecting field sites to observe, evaluate condition, operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.
To check the drawings provided by various design consultants and integrate in the project.
Putting together specification and requirements for issue of tenders for civil / structural works contracts.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art technical skills in materials & methods in all applicable engineering, architectural & construction areas.
Directs and oversees junior engineers and draftsmen in day to day operations and tasks.
To prepare R.C.C drawings for Pile Foundation, Well Foundation, Open Foundation & Raft Foundation.
To prepare Staging, shuttering and drawings for Pier Caps.
To prepare R.C.C drawings for pedestals for Piers and Piers Cap. Precast Box.
General Specification, Particular Specification, General Arrangement Drawings, Structural Detail Drawings, Concrete/Foundation, Steel Supporting Pipes, Building Drawings, Road Layouts, Paving Grading and drainage, Underground drawings, Material Requisition, Bid Summaries.
Site visit, collection of site data, its analysis and design of structures.
Design of underground and surface structures.
Execution of Industrial Structures, cooling towers, Power Plant Structures, Pipe Supports, cable Racks, PEB Structures (Both in RCC & Steel).
Measuring, recording of work in Measurement book and preparation of bill for Quantity of work.
To prepare civil foundations for equipment and TG building.
To prepare steel drawings for Boilers, pipe racks and other steel works.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Candidate should be Diploma/be ( Civil) 3-5 yrs of experience Supervision of civil part of tower foundations for their timely execution to completion like excavation, concreting, bolt grouting, DG foundation, Shelter foundation, tower erection, etc., Surveying sites. (Site Survey, layout, excavation, PCC, RCC). Prior exp in CIVIL ENGINEERING for CPP, Cogen Plants and Balance of plant for power projects. Have prior experience in design engineering in Energy/Infrastructure Sector. He should be familiar with static and dynamic behaviors’ of structures. Awareness of relevant I.S & International codes Prepare concrete, steel structural & architectural drawings in Auto Cad & Micro station for all types of building, Exp in 3-D model development. He should be familiar with FEM techniques & BIS recommendation.
He shall be familiar with the objective, contents and work process of the following deliverables, acquired by working through Basic/ FEED/Detailed Engineering packages of Energy/Infrastructure sector projects and deliver them in budgeted time.
