General Manager – Solar Sales


Job Description:

To be the business head of PV Projects
To lead the PV Projects department, set the strategy, manage and recruit the team
To be overall responsible for the lead generation, sales, collections, installation and servicing of medium to larger scale solar photovoltaic projects
To sell larger scale PV projects 1-1000 KW both off-grid and grid-tied
To identify potential project customers, develop them into prospects, and close orders directly
To work with PV Projects team for design of systems, technical drawings and commercial proposals for project customers
To liaise with GM Operations to ensure proper documentation for MNRE subsidy claims, and where required to visit MNRE to ensure quick processing of claims pending
To liaise closely with GM Technical and the technical team on final installation and service
To develop commercial and legal documentation to govern projects, where required by size of projects
To carefully plan, and execute projects; taking responsibility for total project management
To ensure those time-lines for project finalization and commissioning as agreed with customers and senior management are always met
To identify, employ, and manage all subcontractors required for project implementation
