The company also saw a notable 34% rise in its profit after tax (PAT), which amounted to ₹670 million. This growth reflects the company’s strong market position in the solar EPC sector.

In addition to revenue and profit growth, Gensol’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) soared by 89% YoY, reaching ₹2.46 billion. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) grew significantly, climbing to ₹20.64 from ₹13.66 in the previous year, underscoring its solid financial health.

Gensol’s expansion in the renewable energy market is driven by its increasing number of EPC contracts. The company secured major projects, including a ₹10.62 billion contract for a 275 MW solar facility at RE Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat, and a ₹9.68 billion deal for a 245 MW solar project at the same location.

The company also won a significant ₹8.97 billion contract with NTPC Renewable Energy for a 225 MW solar project at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Solar Park. These projects highlight Gensol’s ability to secure large-scale contracts, which will fuel its continued growth in the solar energy sector.

As of October 31, 2024, Gensol’s solar EPC order book exceeded ₹5,400 crore, reflecting a robust pipeline of upcoming projects. This solid backlog positions the company well for sustained growth in the coming quarters as demand for renewable energy solutions continues to rise.
