Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Union Minister of State, New and Renewable Energy, Chemicals and Fertilizers inaugurated the National Solar Energy Federation of India’s (NSEFI) new office at Saket, New Delhi, on 24th November.

The inauguration ceremony began with Lighting the lamp and Pooja by Hon’ble Minister Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Mr. Pranav R. Mehta, Chairman, NSEFI, Mr. Deepak Gupta, Rtd. IAS, Hon. Director General, NSEFI, Mr. Anil Jain, CMD, Refex Group, Founder Trustee NSEFI and Mr. Subrahmanyam Pulipaka, Chief Executive Officer, National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI).

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, in his keynote address mentioned that Central government and associations like NSEFI should work hand in hand to realize India’s Renewable Energy Goals. He expressed joy and felt happy with the progress NSEFI has made in last Few Years and said that he is very hopeful that NSEFI will make further progress especially in the areas of Green Hydrogen, Waste to Energy and Biomass Energy.

The minister further added India is having an ambitious target in the clean energy sector to install 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 from its existing target of 175 GW by 2022. It is a matter of immense pride for the Indian Power Sector to have achieved the coveted milestone of 100 GW of installed Renewable Energy Capacity.

The Participants from Industry interacted with Hon’ble MoS and discussed various issues of the sectors including Rooftop Solar, PM-KUSUM Scheme and Domestic Manufacturing. In attendance the representatives of NSEFI trustee and Patron Members i.e Refex Group, Greenko Energies, Brookfield, ReNew, Mahindra Susten, Amplus Energy, Sunsource Energy, IB Solar, Eden Renewables, ACME Group, Axis Energies, Ayana, Vector Green.
