JinkoSolar Attends B20 Summit in Hangzhou
JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a global leader in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, today announced that it has been invited to attend The Business 20 (B20) Summit to be held in Hangzhou on September 3-4. As the only renewable energy company in Infrastructure taskforce, JinkoSolar have been working with other members in formulating policy recommendations for the Group of Twenty (G20) body in the area of infrastructure. The B20 summit will summarize these proposals and report the work results to G20.
The two key arguments raised by JinkoSolar in this Summit is that “green infrastructure investment will be the main driver of economic recovery across global markets” and “new record set for world’s cheapest solar, now is undercutting coal. Solar is about to replace coal to become one of the primary energies.”
The B20 is a very important platform for the international business community and global economic governance. It is designed to discuss major issues for global economic development, gather advice from the business community, provide policy recommendations to the G20 Summit, and facilitate the strong, sustainable and balance growth of global economy. Other issues to be discussed under B20 taskforce include, innovate global economic growth approaches, drive more effective new financial regulations and governance, strengthen world trade and world investment across the global, encourage tolerance and interconnection across continents.
