JinkoSolar has done it once again by gaining the leadership position in the market as the number one solar module supplier by capacity in Q1 2022. Jinko has topped all charts in 2022 with an overall performance.

Jinko has captured a market share of 21% with shipments reaching 1.87 GW just in Q1. This is highest capacity shipped by any manufacturer to India in a given quarter.

This massive achievement comes in tandem with a record cumulative shipment number of 8 GW of solar panels to India. JinkoSolar is the 1st and only global player to reach this milestone. As they continue to increase their market share in India, they have added some of the best clients and projects in their kitty. Jinko boasts of a rich customer mix between major IPPs, C&I Developers, EPCs and Rooftop players. They have been able to penetrate in the distribution segment as well with their Tiger and Tiger Pro Series modules which are already class performers in the utility segment.

Jinko has been a market leader when it comes to orchestrating a technology shift. They are now the front runners and serious advocates of N-Type technology with TOPCON. Their flagship product – Tiger Neo has been launched globally and has broken all efficiency records. Neo will come in both monofacial and bifacial variants touching maximum power class of up to 620 W.

India remains to be a very important market for JinkoSolar and they have proved that by showcasing exemplary numbers in a challenging year like 2021-22. Despite the pandemic, raw material price rise and shortage, high freight charges, etc. the company managed to deliver quality shipments to its customers. This speaks volumes about Jinko’s commitment to its customers and playing its part in India’s renewable energy journey.
